Topics in Photographic Preservation, Vol. 18 (2019)

Topics in Photographic Preservation is a biannual publication of the Photographic Materials Group (PMG) of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC). It provides a means for the informal exchange of information, experiences and techniques relating to photographic science, conservation and collections care. Topics in Photographic Preservation should not be viewed as a substitute for or equal to the Journal of the American Institute for Conservation (JAIC), the authoritative reference published semiannually by AIC. It is a compilation of papers presented at PMG sessions during the annual meetings of the AIC and during PMG biennial winter meetings, but can also contain other submissions related to photographic materials. ÃPublished research and treatment is authored by scientists, conservators, and historians in the field. ÃAlthough contributors are trained professionals, none of the papers in Topics are peer reviewed.
